Tascam dm24 resetten

	Ik heb een Tascam dm24 die ergens heel raar gerout is en ik krijg dat niet zomaar gefixt. Ik zou hem willen resetten en daarvoor gebruikt men doorgaan onderstaande: "To do a Hard reset you must… 1)power the unit down 2)Hold down “2nd F” button below the clock source area, the “High” button iin the EQ area and the “Minus” key in the library area and power the unit on… 3)you are now in the Diagnostic mode 4)There are many options but you will concentrate on 2 options 1st – SRAM Init – ***NOTE – do not use SRAM init factory – this is only for a Tascam authorized repair person*** 2nd – FLASH Information Clear 5) scroll to each of the options and hit the enter Key for each selection – as you select each box and hit enter , it will ask you, ARE you sure? and you will Enter again and then scroll to the next option – 6) when both of these are done you will scroll down to EXIT and the machine will reset itself in about 30 seconds…." So far so good, mengpaneel start terug op, fadercalibratie, maar blijft dan in zijn opstartscherm hangen. Er gebeurd helemaal niets meer. Enige dat ik dan kan doen is hem uitschakelen waarna hij weer gewoon terug opstart. Nu is de routing echter nog altijd niet terug zoals het hoort... Iemand een oplossing? Liefst iets zonder hamer en beitel.

	Ik heb even zitten zoeken en ik heb een vermoeden dat het een bekend probleem met de eproms kan zijn. Zie onderstaande text: If your DM-24 displays the following error message: "Flash Memory [EQ/Gate/Comp Lib.] has written over 999950 time please contact TASCAM service" Or any other error message about memory, or that the Mixer starts the calibration then freezes: it's time to change the EPROM! The EPROM, or EEPROM used are guaranteed for 100,000 entries and beyond, they are likely to be corrupted. However whenever you save a scene, an EQ, a preset, you do a delete - writing to the eeprom. Data end not be corrupted... and the table is frozen. You must then change the Eproms U6, U7 and U31 3, each being responsible for a portion of the program and data. The operation is not very difficult and is explained in a Tascam PDF

	Kijken of je kunt achterhalen welke eproms het zijn en deze vervangen dus

	Ik ben gisteravond nog een tijdje bezig geweest en het routing probleem is grotendeels opgelost. Het had te maken met de firewirekaart, hierdoor waren alle kanalen naar de firewirekaart gerout en zat er op elk kanaal een effect dat weer over twee aux kanalen zat. Resultaat was dat ik enkel geluid op mijn main kreeg als ik de betreffende schuiven open zette samen met aux1 en aux2, er zat echter geen effect op. Aangezien de dm 24 niet echt een gebruiksvriendelijke tafel is, in mijn ogen toch, heeft het wel een tijdje geduurd voordat ik dat weer terug in orde heb gekregen. Het probleem van niet doorstarten na een reset is er echter nog en daarvoor ga ik denk ik toch die nieuwe eproms installeren. Ik heb er via E-bay kunnen vinden, voorgeprogrammeerde met de laatste firmware. Iemand die ook actief is op het Tascam forum. €50 lijkt me niet te veel voor 3 stuks.

	Ik heb ondertussen nieuwe eproms met de laatste nieuwe firmware kunnen vinden in Frankrijk en heb ze inmiddels ook vervangen. Tafel werkt weer naar behoren!
