| Haal de ,hide maar eens weg uit de sysoc.inf en je kunt ineens veel meer weg slopen ;-) Kaal instaleren gaat namelijk niet bij windows XP. Ik ben in ieder geval nog nooit ergens de optie tegen gekomen om messenger e.d niet te instaleren en verwijderen kan zo alsnog d.m.v het aanpassen van de sysoc.inf | |

| Nog een leuke tweak om harde schijf ruimte vrij te maken. Typ in een console: sfc /purgecache Hiermee gooi je alle 'backups' van de windows bestanden weg.. als windows ze dan ooit nodig heeft (moet de eerste keer nog krijgen) dan vraagt ie om je windows cd | |

| Hallo Heren, Bedankt voor de 'truukjes', leuk dat ik nu ook weer achter dingen kom die ik nog niet wist. Ik weet zelf weinig van tweaken, mijn kennis zit meer in servers en netwerken. | Hallo, Vandaag WinFLP weer geïnstalleerd op een andere laptop, nu met de Custom Configuration optie. De volgende "Windows Components" kun je aan of uit vinken tijdens de (Custom) installatie: * Additional Driver Support * Internet Explorer * Language Support => Complex Languages Support and/or East Asian Languages Support * Local Management Support * Windows Help Files * Windows Media Player * Windows Messenger Hieronder de vier verschillende configuratie mogelijkheden: Minimum Configuration Installs only the Windows Desktop and Remote Desktop; does not install Internet Explorer. Note that some elements of Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs will not function without Internet Explorer and other components. For more details, see Issues When Internet Explorer Is Not Installed and Issues When Optional Components Are Not Installed in the WinFLP System Management Guide. Typical Configuration This is the default installation and includes Internet Explorer. Full Configuration Installs all optional components: the full device driver support of Windows XP SP2, Internet Explorer, support for complex and East Asian Languages, local management support (allows you to run 16-bit applications), Windows help files, Windows Media Player, and Windows Messenger. | Hallo, Inmiddels ook wat andere software kunnen checken, namelijk: * Microsoft Office Professional Editie 2003 * Kerio Outlook Connector 6.2.0 (groupware i.s.m. Outlook (van Microsoft Office Professional Editie 2003) en Kerio Mailserver 6.2.0) * WinAmp 5.24 Lite (de andere versies zullen ongetwijfeld ook wel draaien) Draait allemaal als een "tiet"  .Opmerking betreffende "Microsoft Update" (dus niet de Windows Update): Alhoewel ik Windows Messenger niet had geinstalleerd, is na het uitvoeren van "Microsoft Update" Windows Messenger toch nog geinstalleerd. Ik had simpelweg alle updates aangevinkt (van alle drie de groepen), waar dus achteraf dus ook Windows Messenger tussen zat. De grap is nu dat hij niet gedeinstalleerd kan worden op een normale manier. Normaal gesproken zou je hem bij "add and remove programs" kunnen verwijderen, hij staat er gewoon niet tussen (ook als je het vinkje aanzet bij "show updates"). Greetz Webbie... | |
