Follow these guidelines to select locations that best use the properties of the Direct/Reflecting® speakers:
For good stereo separation, place the speakers 4 to 12 feet (1.2 to 3.6 m) apart along one wall of your room. For the Lifestyle® 901 music system, place the powered speaker on the left side as you face the speakers, within reach of an electrical outlet, and the accessory speaker on the right side.
Aim the V-shaped rear panel of each speaker toward the wall behind it. Do not aim the V toward a corner. Ideally, place the tip of the V between 8 and 18 inches (20-45 cm) from the back wall. Do not place the speaker closer than 8 inches (20 cm) from the wall.
Place the speakers 1 1/2 to 4 feet (45 to 120 cm) from the side walls.
Place the speakers at least 2 feet (60 cm) or more from any sound-absorbent furnishings.
Place the speakers 18 to 36 inches (45 to 91 cm) from the floor or ceiling. Do not place the speakers exactly halfway between the floor and ceiling.

Heel eenvoudig, bij piekspanningen onherstelbare schade, in het beste geval een zekering. Zelfs te lage spanningen zijn schadelijk voor versterkers

Topic: zo klein mogelijke baskasten (2-11-2003 19:23:00)wat dachten jullie van de pro 18 S van JBS, kan ik die maten niet aanhouden voor de fane collossus? 
Topic: zo klein mogelijke baskasten (1-11-2003 22:31:00) Ik heb de drivers in mijn bezit, nieuw en goedkoop kunnen krijgen. Ik heb reeds baskasten gezien op partys met 18" drivers die eigenlijk verassend klein waren (in verhouding uiteraard) en met een redelijke basdruk.
